1996
Tempdent is founded
Tempdent’s story began in 1996 when founder, Lorraine Nadel, a former Dental Nurse and Dental Practice Manager, founded Tempdent Dental Agency with a vision to provide high-quality recruitment services to the dental industry.
1999
Tempdent begins delivering training
Tempdent began delivering their first National Diploma qualifications, alongside the growing recruitment business.
2001
Tempdent introduces NVQ Level 3 in Dental Nursing
Tempdent introduced the NVQ Level 3 in Dental Nursing, now the Level 3 Dental Nurse apprenticeship.
2005
Ofsted inspection
Tempdent received their first Grade 2 Ofsted inspection.
2008
Tempdent launches CPD
Tempdent expands their training delivery and begins providing dental CPD courses.
2018
Tempdent launches Dental Practice Manager apprenticeship
Tempdent begins to deliver their first Level 4 qualification, providing a progression pathway for Dental Nurses and a recognised qualification for trainee Dental Practice Managers.
2021
Tempdent celebrates 25 years
In celebration of the 25th anniversary, founder, Lorraine, and the team hold the first ever Tempdent Annual Conference to reflect, learn and celebrate the incredible achievements of the dedicated team behind Tempdent.
2023
Tempdent acquired by the Knovia Group
Tempdent joins the Knovia Group, enhancing its dental training and recruitment services through shared expertise and collaboration.
2024
Tempdent launches Oral Health Practitioner apprenticeship
Tempdent begins delivering the Level 4 Oral Health Practitioner apprenticeship, championing progression routes for qualified Dental Nurses, and bringing preventative care and education into our communities.
