About the role

We are recruiting for an Associate Dentist to join a long established mixed NHS/private practice in the Sidcup area (SE London / Kent border). This is a brilliant opportunity for a clinician who wants a well-structured NHS diary, strong nursing support, and the chance to grow private in a stable, reputable practice.

The role

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality general dentistry for NHS and private patients
  • Provide clear treatment planning and excellent patient care
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and uphold compliance standards
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to provide a smooth patient journey

The working pattern (3 days)

  • Monday: 9:00am – 5:00pm (lunch 1:00pm – 2:00pm)
  • Wednesday: 9:00am – 5:00pm (lunch 1:00pm – 2:00pm)
  • Friday: 8:30am – 3:30pm (lunch 12:30pm – 1:30pm)

Clinical & diary structure

  • Approx. 30 UDAs per day
  • 15-minute examinations
  • Dedicated nurse support to keep clinics flowing smoothly and reduce admin pressure
  • Mixed diary with NHS and private patients

The ideal candidate

  • GDC registration
  • Active NHS Performer Number
  • Experience in Invisalign and/or Fast Braces (essential)
  • Confidence using Dentally software
  • UK Right to Work

Desirable (not essential):

  • DCME compliance knowledge
  • Interest in stepping into a Clinical Audit Lead responsibility (support provided)
