Apprenticeship delivery
At Tempdent, we understand that every dental practice is different. That’s why we take a personalised approach, recognising your unique goals and creating apprenticeship solutions that deliver real value.
We offer a wide range of dental apprenticeships designed to help thousands of learners each year start their careers as qualified Dental Nurses or advance in their existing roles through our higher-level programmes, such as the Level 4 Oral Health Practitioner and Level 4 Dental Practice Manager apprenticeships.
Each apprenticeship is delivered with tailored elements specific to the programme. For example, the Level 4 Oral Health Practitioner apprenticeship includes four in-person skills labs, providing hands-on practical training to enhance learners’ clinical skills.
Visit our Apprenticeship Centre to explore the unique features of each programme.
Below are the core six stages of Tempdent apprenticeship delivery:
1.
Once your apprenticeship programme is agreed upon, our delivery team is trained to assess your learners’ performance against the qualification and your company’s standards.
2.
Your apprentice will be assigned a Tutor Assessor who will then discuss the apprenticeship programmes with you and induct them onto their chosen programme using our custom e-learning system, Bud.
3.
Tempdent offer a unique learner journey to support and enhance your internal training and business impact measures.
4.
Working with you, their Workplace Assessor will plan visits providing continuous assessment and support to your team with minimal disruption to your business.
5.
An apprenticeship programme with Tempdent typically takes 12-18 months, depending on the ability of the learner, level of apprenticeship and qualification.
6.
Management information will be available to track and assess your apprentices progress throughout their apprenticeship programmes through Bud.
Have you heard about our Foundation Induction Programme?
Tempdent offers a unique Foundation Induction Programme or ‘FIP’ to apprentices starting the Level 3 Dental Nursing apprenticeship. The FIP is essential pre-apprenticeship learning that the learner completes before their apprenticeship begins. This set of online modules allows your new apprentice to become familiar with the e-learning modules they will have on the apprenticeship, become more familiar with their new role and ensure they begin safe practice within your team. It’s a fantastic opportunity for your learner to get a taste of the apprenticeship before it begins, and helps them settle in well.
