This CPD covers lone working, the risks and measures that should be in place for team members to safely work alone. 

This level 2 Safeguarding CPD is suitable for all the dental team. It provides a basic understanding of safeguarding patients, with information on the reasons for safeguarding, types of abuse and course of action to follow. Please note, this Safeguarding course is not a qualification course but a CPD module. It forms part of your requirement for safeguarding training (not the total recommended). The training required for each individual depends on any previous training undertaken, the individual\'s organizational requirements and their job role.

The purpose of this module is to provide you with an overview of the Prevent strategy, the responsibilities of authorities and healthcare professionals with regards to safeguarding individuals from being drawn into terrorism and to give you guidance on the action to be taken.

This level 3 Safeguarding CPD focuses on facilitating acting as a safeguarding lead within the dental practice. This includes using supervision effectively, identifying training needs and understanding of the sequence of events during a referral. Please note, this Safeguarding course is not a qualification course but a CPD module. It forms part of your requirement for safeguarding training (not the total recommended). The training required for each individual depends on any previous training undertaken, the individual's organizational requirements and their job role.

The aim of this module is to give further knowledge and understanding of Autism. It details the responsabilities for individuals and how Autism affects specific patients in different ways. 

This CPD will help you to understand and identify the difference between healthy and unhealthy relationships, how you can spot traits, and how you can help someone close to you who is stuck in an unhealthy relationship.

This module helps us to have an understanding of SEND and how it impacts our daily lives.

This CPD module provides you with 2 hours of GDC-verifiable CPD.

This CPD module relates to GDC development outcomes A, B, C, and D.

This module aims to be able to embed British values both in a professional and personal capacity.

This CPD provides an introduction to inhalation sedation and the safety features / requirements for dental care professionals.

This will enable you to have a good knowledge of how Inhalation works, including the gases used and also what the Nurses responsability is during the procedure.

This CPD module provides the learner with an insight into what types of sedation are available and a more in depth knowledge of Intravenous sedation in particular. It allows the learner to understand their role in the procedure and also how the drugs are administered and how they work and take effect. 

This course enables the learner to have good solid understanding of the circulatory and respiratory system and how providing sedation can affect those.

This CPD courses enables the learner to understand the legalities when working with conscious sedation.  What is required during the treatment and what CPD the nurse should be carrying out to be deemed competent in this treatment.
